Larnaca: One of the world’s oldest cities

According to a recent article by the renowned UK newspaper ‘The Telegraph’, Larnaca ranks 17th amongst the world’s oldest cities, as the earliest inhabitants settled in the city back in 1,400 BC. Larnaca is a city infused with the ancient culture of divergent civilizations; strolling through the town one can meet history and culture at its best, once he visits the Larnaca Fort, St.Lazarus Church, the District Archaeological Museum and the Pierides Foundation Museum.

Larnaca today is a thriving and modern European city that offers the best of both worlds. It is the 3rd largest city of Cyprus, home to the main International Airport, a busy touristic and commercial port and a modern marina for yachts and sailing boats. Amongst others, Larnaca offers 75km of coastline with superb Blue Flag sandy beaches and it is the city with the most potential for growth in all aspects.
