According to an OPP article, the 2 most important factors to be considered when Russians buy second homes for lifestyle is the easy transport availability and the coastal locations in countries which are warmer than Russia.
Another factor to be considered is the friendly environment and political stability of the country. This refers to an easy visa application in the country. Before making a purchase decision, Russians evaluate the risks in terms of the political instability, natural cataclysms, long flights with changes and unfinished developments.
According to the OPP article, Russians looking to buy a profitable investment tended to focus on Great Britain, Germany, Cyprus and USA over the last year.
